“목소리만 듣고도 치매 가능성 예측”…AI활용한 앱 출시

[서울=뉴시스] 배민욱 기자 = 소프트웨어 스타트업 밤볼이 최근 음성 기반의 AI(인공지능) 치매 선별 앱인 ‘기억탐정(MemoryDetective)’을 출시했다고 30일 밝혔다.
기억탐정은 사용자가 휴대전화에 설치된 앱에 표시된 간단한 문장을 읽으면 해당 음성을 AI 알고리즘이 분석해 양호, 관리, 상담 필요 등 3단계로 치매 가능성을 알려준다.
기억탐정의 알고리즘은 음성과 치매의 관계를 설명하는 다수의 논문을 기반으로 설계됐다. 한국지능정보사회진흥원(NIA)의 AI 데이터 구축 시스템인 ‘AI 허브(AI Hub)’의 데이터(주관 카톨릭의대)를 활용했다. AI 허브는 AI 기술·제품·서비스 개발에 필요한 AI 인프라를 지원한다. 누구나 활용하고 참여하는 AI 통합 플랫폼이다.
밤볼의 기억탐정은 사람의 음성을 이미지로 변환하고 그 변환된 이미지의 차이를 분석하여 치매 가능성을 선별한다. 특히 사용자의 음성을 분석하는 데 걸리는 시간을 10초 내외로 단축해 준다. 읽는 시간을 포함하더라도 20~30초 정도의 시간이면 그 결과까지 앱을 통해서 확인할 수 있다.
밤볼은 최근 기억탐정 시스템의 국내 특허 등록을 완료했다. 이들은 국제특허법인의 도움을 받아 150여개국이 회원으로 있는 PCT(특허협력조약) 출원 신청도 마무리했다.
기억탐정은 안드로이드용 앱으로 출시됐다. iOS용 앱도 선보일 예정이다. 이후 외국어 버전 출시도 준비되고 있다.
